Február 19-én rendeztük meg iskolánk Spelling Bee versenyének szóbeli fordulóját, amelyet az írásbeli forduló előzött meg még decemberben. A megmérettetésen a 2–8. évfolyam tanulói vettek részt, akik nagy lelkesedéssel és izgalommal készültek a versenyre.
Az alsó tagozatos diákok a tanévben tanult angol szavak helyes betűzésében mérték össze tudásukat. Szépen, magabiztosan szerepeltek. A felső tagozatos tanulók már jóval nehezebb, összetettebb szavakat kaptak, amelyek komolyabb felkészülést igényeltek. Minden résztvevő büszke lehet a teljesítményére!
On 19 February, we held the oral round of our school’s Spelling Bee competition, which had been preceded by the written round in December. Pupils from Years 2–8 took part in the competition, preparing with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The lower school pupils competed in spelling the English words they had learned this year. They performed confidently and impressively. The upper school pupils were given much more difficult and complex words, which required more thorough preparation. Every participant can be proud of their performance.
